I grew up in the church and accepted Jesus as my Savior at
a young age. As an older teenager, I began to do my own
thing and not seek God's will in my life. The world says
everyone needs to be materially successful, so I believed it.
Following my own understanding caused me to go to the
wrong college and choose the wrong major. It wasn't until
two years later down the wrong path that I sought God and
His guidance. I changed majors. I changed schools. I
changed my whole direction: God's, not mine. I met my
husband before I attended my first class at Appalachian
State. As a music major, God was laying the groundwork
for what He wanted me to do now and in the future.

My music is much more than lyrics and melody. It is the story of what God has done and is doing in my life. As I
seek and follow Him, He is revealed to me in so many ways. Some say things have fallen in front of me, but I know
that it is His loving hands placing every opportunity in my path in order to bring Him glory. It is my prayer
that your walk with the Lord is continually deepened.

Two of my songs made the top 25 song chart for this week! "All of Me" is #12 and "Lord, Father, Best
Friend" is #21! Yeah, God is great!!!!

I heard "All of Me" on the internet station today! I was listening while doing something else and it just
came on! My son said "that's your song, Mommy!"

I have just been added to an internet radio station that plays independent Christian music! I'll finally be
able to hear one of my songs played live! Everywhere that plays me now is out of range for me - most
of them are out of state!

I'm releasing another single with Playlist Productions! This time it's "Lord, Father, Best Friend". I'm
also talking with distributors about national distribution!! I'm so excited - my ministry has expanded
way beyond what I ever expected! God is awesome!!!!

I received the second radio tracking from Playlist and I'm getting even more airplay!! Sure wish some of
that was around the Charlotte area so I could hear it! But not my will, but His.

I just received my first tracking results from Playlist Productions regarding radio airplay of "All of Me".
There are radio stations across the country and around the world playing me - it's so exciting! I look
forward to seeing what else God has in store for my ministry.

I just returned from a women's retreat where I was the vocalist. It was great! I was ministered to and I
was able to share my story and God-given talent. I wish I could do this more!!

I just signed a contract with a radio promotional company! I met them in Nashville and gave them one
of my CD's, so they called me to put a song on their quarterly compilation CD. They send it to more
than 1000 different radio stations across the nation!! Listen for "All of Me" on your local Christian
music station!

I just returned from Nashville for a GMA seminar. I met a lot of great people and learned a ton about
the Christian music industry and songwriting! I also just performed at a church talent show tonight- I
sang "One More Miracle" and my husband did some acting along with me. He acted as if he was Adam!
We got some laughs out of that one!

We started a marriage ministry at our church and I sang at our kick-off. I wrote a Christian love song
for my husband, "My Love Forever", and this was the second live performance of it (it's not on this CD,
I finished it in October). I sang it in a friend's wedding last fall. It went well with the theme for
marriage ministry!

I sang "live" at a Christmas banquet in Hickory. By that, I mean I took my keyboard and played while
singing instead of using my tracks. This required a lot more concentration from me, but it was great. I
enjoyed being able to change things around a bit!

A few days ago, I sang at a Thrive! simulcast. I was able to sing during the breaks. Their theme was
patriotic and servicemen currently in Iraq were mentioned, so I sang Freedom Isn't Free!

would never have believed would be fans of my music; Vice President Dick Cheney and President George

I sang at revival at my home church, Zion Baptist, tonight. I sang three of my songs, but that wasn't
what I was nervous about - it was the talking I felt I needed to do! But the Lord gave me the words to
say and the courage to say them without shaking! "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens
me" Philippians 4:13

We just finished all the studio stuff! I was able to do some of the engineering and mixing. I never
thought I would be picking out small missed notes and changing things around like that.

I just finished my 1st studio session! I have been blessed with incredible musicians. It's great to be able
to play instruments, sing and have fun, all for the glory of God.

The praise band at our church, Lake Norman Baptist, accompanied me as I sang "Freedom Isn't Free".
This was the first public performance (other than family) of any of my songs.
